TONY MASON-LEGG
Master Detailer
By way of introduction, my name is Tony and I am the Director of OCD Optimum Car Detailing. After a successful 25-year career in the military, I decided to embark on a new challenge within the automotive detailing industry and become self-employed.
Starting a business from scratch was a significant leap of faith for both myself and my family. Having always relied on the security of a guaranteed monthly income, I knew that success would require complete commitment, determination and an unwavering focus on delivering exceptional results.
My passion for vehicle care has always been more than just a hobby. Alongside my business partner Sara, we have owned and maintained numerous performance vehicles over the years, always striving to achieve showroom-quality standards. Our dedication to detailing was recognised when one of our vehicles won a trophy for the cleanest car at a local Ford RS enthusiasts' meet, further inspiring us to turn our passion into a profession.
In 2019, with Sara's support, OCD Optimum Car Detailing was founded. What began as a passion for perfection has grown into a trusted detailing and valeting business, serving clients across Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean. Today, we continue to treat every vehicle with the same care, attention to detail and pride that first inspired us to start the business.

SARA MATTHEWS
Co-Director
Alongside Tony is Sara, Co-Director of OCD Optimum Car Detailing and an integral part of the business since its launch in 2019. Whilst many people know Sara for keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes, she is equally at home picking up a machine polisher and assisting with vehicle details when required.
Sara oversees the day-to-day administration, accounts and operational side of the business, ensuring everything runs efficiently and that clients receive the high level of service OCD is known for.
Before co-founding OCD Optimum Car Detailing, Sara spent more than 10 years working in leadership and complaints management roles, developing strong organisational, customer service and problem-solving skills. Alongside her role at OCD, Sara has also built her own successful business, bringing a wealth of commercial experience and professionalism to the company.
Together, Sara and Tony have combined their passion for vehicles, attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction to build OCD Optimum Car Detailing into a trusted name across Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean.
